Saturday:
Today Esther had a swim meet in the morning. Apparently she did pretty well. I decided to sleep in instead of going. When I woke up Dad had just gotten home from the meet. He wanted to go buy a new refrigerator. First we went to H H Gregg but we didn't see any we like. We got lunch at a burrito place down the street. I got a barbecue veggie burrito and Dad got a fish taco. We went to Sears next and looked at some more. We decided on one. It is going to get delivered July 15th. Our current refrigerator's freezer doesn't keep things cold enough anymore. This one is a nice one. It was hard to find one that fit our size constraints and was nice. We have a very small space to fit one into. After I got home I played a game of Mario Kart with Esther. Then her friend came over. They went to the park shortly after. After her friend left Esther and I played some more video games. Tomorrow I am going to a meeting about my job at the end of July. I am going to be a counselor at a drama camp. I am looking forward to working there. I think it will be a lot of fun.
Sunday:
Today I went to church in the morning. After that Mom and I went grocery shopping. We got a bunch of stuff. We are making tacos for dinner. After I got home I relaxed for a little bit. Then Dad and I fixed one of my bass's. The pickups on it are powered by a nine volt battery. The connector had come off so we had to re-attach it. It didn't take to long. After we finished I had to leave for my meeting for my job. It was at the school where the camp is. It was fun. We painted the signs for the camp. My groups sign was the best. We got all the info we needed for the camp. It was two hours long but we weren't sitting the whole time so it wasn't that bad. I have some good friends who are being counselors but I don't think any of them are working the same week as me. I am getting a little bit but this year will be my training year so it is not alot. Next year I will be a full time counselor. I will probably be working at least 3 weeks at the camp next summer. It is a drama camp. I attended it last year and I had a lot of fun. I am really looking forward to working. It will be my first job.

Past 3 Days
Wednesday:
I didn't do much today at all. Mom, Esther and I all went to the doctors today, all at separate times. Other then that we didn't do anything at all. I have a few goals this summer. I want to bake more. I made my mom's birthday cake. It was from a box though. I also want to practice bass more then I have been recently. I also need to practice piano and singing more. I am taking vocal lessons on Thursday. I will be talking over half the singing in my band once I get more comfortable. I am starting to get there. After this summer of vocal lessons I think I will be comfortable enough. I am very excited for that. It will give us an extra advantage because it is a little different then everyone else. After we record some of my friends who are already in a signed band will be listening to my band. If they like us they might promote us and we might get big. Other then that I don't really have much else I am planning to do this summer. I want to spend alot of time with friends this summer. So far I have been spending a fair amount of time with my friends but I want to continue to for the rest of the summer.
Thursday:
Today Esther's friend Zach came over. They played Mario Kart for a while. I played with them for a little bit. I beat them every time because I am the master of Mario Kart. Then they went to have lunch. I went skateboarding for a little bit and they went to the park. So far the summer has been pretty boring. It's been fun though. I have been spending a lot of time with friends. I'm glad I have been. It's hard to spend time with friends during the school year. I didn't have a lot of classes with my friends this year it made me really annoyed. It would be really nice if i had a bunch of classes with friends this year. The band is going to try to have a practice this weekend. I am really looking forward to maybe having some this year. My friends and I are taking alot of the same classes. We get our class schedule in august though. I have plans to hang out with a good friend I haven't seen in a while on Tuesday I am very excited. Esther has another swim meet on Saturday. I don't know if I will go this time though. I don't have any friends going to this one. Esther doesn't want me going either. She think's I will embarrasses her. Mom want's me to go to support her though. The swim meet is very early. I would have to be there at 9 in the morning.
Friday:Today I had to wake up early because the cleaning lady was coming to help mom clean. I am very tired now. After they left, I made some pot stickers for lunch. They were very good. Soon after Jake came over and we hung out for a while. We played Mario Kart for a little bit. I won most of the time. After we played that we walked to Taco Bell. It is just down the street from my house. As we were walking back it started to rain a little. Once we got back it started to really pour and thunder. Sandy got really scared. After the storm calmed down a little bit Jake's Mom came to pick him up. After he left Esther and I played some Mario Party. We played on the same team and we won 12 stars to 3. Then we played some mini games. I won most of them and she got mad. We were going to a pot luck at the pool but it got cancelled because of the storm. Mom made a really nice cake she was going to bring but since it was cancelled we get to have some tonight. It looks very good. I don't know exactly what it is though. Tomorrow Esther and I are going to go buy the new Mario Party. We are going to go through all our old games and trade in some of our old games.

Past two days
Yesterday I didn't really do anything all morning. I lazed around watched some TV and played some Wii with Esther. We have been playing Mario Kart a lot lately. We have almost unlocked all the characters. I also went to Guitar Center with Chase. I am saving up for a new bass and it is 50 % off for this month only but I don't have the money I need. I will probably have to pay full price after I save up. After that I came back home. Later that day, Esther had a swim meet against Chase's pool so I went to that. One of my friends who I hadn't talked since 8th grade was there. We got to catch up during the swim meet. It was a lot of fun. Esther did pretty well in her races. She has been doing really well this summer so far. I am proud of her. Tomorrow I am going to Jake's house to work on writing some more music. I really enjoy writing with Jake. We work really well together and are almost always on the same page as far as writing goes. I am proud of what we have done before. Each song we write keeps getting better and better.
Today I had an orthodontist appointment in the morning. My teeth are still straight. I don't need braces. The orthodontist said that my two of my bottom teeth are slightly off but not enough to wear its a problem at all. Then I got a bagel from the bagel bakery across the street. After that I went to the DMV to try to get my learners permit but I missed one of the questions on signs so I have to retake it in 15 days to get my permit. The DMV is in the mall so I went shopping after that. I bought a new CD. It is called Rise 200. My favorite record label, Rise Records, has released 200 albums and for there 200th album they released a compilation of all of there favorite songs they have every released. It is three discs and 50 songs long. I also got some more summer clothes. Then I went over to Jake's house. We finished a song we've been working on for 6 months or so because we finally had a break though on it. I also brought some lyrics I had finished writing a few days ago and spend some time on that. I think it is starting to come along. We have 3 songs basically finished and 7 or 8 others in the process of being finished.

First 5 days of summer
I have been pretty busy the first few days of summer. This is my first post and we are already five days into summer! Tuesday was the last day of school. After school I had a piano lesson. I am learning the moonlight sonata by Beethoven. It is one of my favorite songs. Then I went to my friend Nika's house and we hung out for the rest of the day. I had a good time. On Wednesday I hung out with my friend Chase. He lives in the neighborhood so I walked over to his house. We then walked over to the shopping center. We got taco bell for lunch. Then we walked back to his house and wrote some drum parts. On Thursday I hung out with Nika again in the morning. Then I hung out with Jake in the afternoon. On Friday the band met with a studio. We are recording a few songs this summer. We set a recording date of July 13th. We have two songs written and we will record both of those. On Saturday I didn't do anything all morning. Esther had a swim meet, she mad it into the A meets this summer for the summer swim team. Then she had a vocal lesson. In the afternoon after Esther and Mom got home I went over to Jake's house. We worked on setting up his drum set he just bought. Then we walked to Taco Bell for dinner. After we got back he helped me learn a song on the guitar. I am going to do some guitar and vocal covers on youtube this summer.
This summer I am going on the mission trip with the church. We leave on June 30th and we get back on July 5th. I am not looking forward to going. We are building a house in West Virginia. I wish I could just stay here. I would like to just work with my band.
As I mentioned before I will be recording with my band. I am very excited. We will be playing a bunch of shows after we record. We have been working on these songs for six or seven months now. I think they sound really good. There are a bunch of signed bands that will be listening to them and promoting them after we record. We could end up getting pretty big.
On July 10th I am going to a music festival called the Vans Warped Tour. There are almost 40 bands there this summer. It goes from 11 in the morning to 9 at night. I am going to try to see the bands The Story So Far, The Wonder Years, Like Moths To Flames, Attila, letlive., and Defeater. It is going to be a lot of fun. I am going with a bunch of friends but I don't know if I will stick with them because I want to see different bands then them.
In August I am visiting California. I am looking forward to that. We will be driving from Livermore all the way to Seattle. I have never been to Washington but I am excited to visit for the first time. I want to visit the town Walnut Creek in California because that is where my favorite band is from.
Overall I think it will be a very good summer.
Next year in school I will be a softmore! Only Three more years of high school! I am taking all the core classes (English, Government, Chemistry, and Algebra). For my electives I will be taking Theatre 2 and Spanish 2. I also have to take Gym one more year in order to have enough gym credits to graduate. This will be my last year of gym though. Then I will have three electives to take instead of two. I will probably go to the academy and take a music production class as my electives starting junior year.
I would go to Robinson to take my core classes but I would go off everyday and take a bus to a different school called Fairfax Academy to take my other class. It takes up all my electives.
It's hard to believe that I am almost done with school already.
Dad was in Korea all week. He just got back yesterday. I think he had a good time. He went there for work but he said he spent most of his time looking around. Esther and Mom went to a concert last night too. They saw Bruno Mars. A bunch of my friends went too. I enjoy his music too. I haven't been to a concert in a while.
Today is mom's birthday. After I am done writing this blog I will be making her a cake. Dad got her some stuff from Korea for her birthday. He got her a fan and a painting. They are really nice.
Esther is going to girl scout camp this summer. This will be her first time at a sleep away camp. I think it will be nice to have the house to myself without here for a week.

It has been a really relaxing good summer so far. It feels good to be sleeping in everyday now. It is annoying to wake up at 5:30 every week day. Esther will be starting at Robinson next year. It will be weird having her at the same school as me I think. I didn't like my seventh grade year very much. I hope hers is better. I hope she has the same English teacher as I did in the seventh grade because I really liked her. I think Esther would enjoy her class too. My history teacher in seventh grade was really good too. I think Esther has been having a good summer too. She has been spending a lot of time at the pool.
