Final post of the Summer

sunday

Today we went out on the boat. We went to Sharks Tooth beach. The water was like eighty degrees. It was really warm. Then we went down the Potomac river some more. We found a restaurant were you anchor your boat and call a shuttle to pick you up. It was cool but unfortunately. We already had lunch. We had a cheese sandwich, goldfish and strawberries. Then we went tubing. It was really choppy so it was pretty hard. I stayed on the whole time though. It was a lot of fun. Then we got back in the car to get back home. We came home and I Mom made me do more of the extra credit work my math teacher gave me. They were kukaro puzzles. Basically they give you a number and you have to add up to that number using the number of spaces you have but they are more than one in a puzzle and you have to have all them work. Tomorrow we are going to the Nationals game. They are playing the Mets. We have good seats. They are right behind the Mets dug out.

saturday

Today we had to baby sit Esther friend Chrissy. So we took her to the pool. There was no one I knew that was there. The pool was almost empty. Then we went home and Esther and Chrissy played Wii. So I had lunch and watched some TV. I found this really cool show called Head Rush. It is basically a Mythbusters but Kari Byron host it and she does experiments during the breaks instead of ads. Dad and I watched Marley and Me. It is a really good movie. It is also very sad. I really want to see the movie Devil. It is a horror movie about these people that are stuck in an elevator and one of them is the devil and he is going to kill all the other people on the elevator but the people out side want to save them. Tomorrow we are going out on the boat. I can not wait. We have only been out once or twice this year. Only two more days of summer left :(. I kind want school to start though.

friday

Today I went to my student orintation. I met all my teachers. My favorite teachers are Mr.Gordon my science teacher, Mr. Holland the chorus teacher, and Mrs.Lamber the computer teacher. My least favorite teacheris Mrs. Shepard my math teacher she is very strict. I think I will have a good year. There is only one kid from white oaks in my class his name is Hunter. I do have one of my friends form VBC(Virginia baseball clinic i took some on firday nights). His name is Chris. We have all t he same classes on a gold day. He will probably end up being my best friend. He is awesome. I put hold on a book it is called the Prince of Thieves. They are making a movie out of it. It is called The Town. Tomorrow Esther's friend Chrissy is coming of for a long time because her family all has work. School starts on Tuesday. My bus come at 6:43 I have to be up by 6:00:(.

thursday

Today mom woke me up at 6:30 to do a test run for school. So she took me to the bus stop. To see where it is. Then we came home and I watched Top Chef. I love that show. Then we went to Esther orientation. She has Mrs. Jashan for a teacher. Tomorrow is my orientation. School starts on Tuesday. Then we went to Wegman's . We had lunch there. Then we did a huge shopping trip. We are going to a baseball game on the last day of summer. We got the best seats. So far I don't know anyone who is taking the classes as me. I can't wait for school to start. We got a Tivo again. Yesterday we had a verizon guy come over to put in a card so it will work in with verizon. It now has a thing were is recommends shows you might like. I like th Tivo. Dad is coming home early all this week. Since he did a lot of work the last couple of weeks. I am all ready for school but Esther still has her home work packet to do.

Wednesday

Today I went to my school to get my locker and schedule. My locker is down stairs. The school year is broken up int o blue and gold days. They alternate days. On a blue day I have chorus first thing in the morning Then I have a free period then I have science. Then I have another free period then I have Computer solutions in the first semester then Theater arts appreciation in the second semester. Then I have history. Then RAISE. RAISE is a period where you can retake a test or do homework or anything. On gold days I have English in second period then science. Next I have gym. You have to wear a uniform for gym now. Then I have a free period. Next I have history. Finally I have RAISE. I have a very good schedule. I wish my parents didn't make me do computer solutions. Then I went to the pool Will was there. I had a caramel drumstick. I had a good day.
